David Winning – Director/Licensed Conveyancer
David established Your Move Conveyancing in January 2014 after seeking to combine his passion for providing exceptional customer service within Conveyancing services. He started out his career working as a legal clerk for a firm in the city in 2006. David quickly found his niche in Conveyancing and studied Conveyancing Law and Practice at Macquarie University while working full time in the industry then in 2008 working full-time as a Conveyancer which quickly earned him the experience required to handle complex and challenging Conveyancing scenarios.
David became a Licensed Conveyancer and Licensee-in-Charge of a branch office in 2010 where he stayed on until 2013. He then decided to use his experience and passion to its full potential by starting Your Move Conveyancing.
When asked about how he maintains his love for Conveyancing, David says: ‘The idea of being able to really exceed customer expectations when it comes to providing our conveyancing services is something I get excited about. It is so rare to find exceptional customer service especially in the legal industry!’ David goes on to say: ‘Conveyancing and Customer Service are my two passions so being able to combine my expertise in both areas is something I jump at the opportunity to provide’. When asked what the best part of providing Conveyancing Services to clients is, David says ‘I still love to this day being able to tell my clients that their property has just settled, particularly when they are a First Home Buyer or couple moving into their dream home. Although I’m only a relatively small part of the whole picture when it comes to buying and selling real estate, I like to be able to think that I’ve been able to make the overall process a lot smoother and easier to handle’
Kristy McMillan – Licensed Conveyancer
Kristy joined the team in January 2017 after a long stint working at a top tier law firm. Kristy started working as a Conveyancing Clerk in 2005 and went on to complete her study of Conveyancing Law and Practice at Macquarie University in 2013. Kristy has a strong ‘client first’ attitude in the way she approaches all interactions and really goes out of her way to get to know her client’s goals so they can work together comfortably throughout the whole transaction. When Kristy is out of the office you can find her behind her 4WD camping by the river. Kristy is also a volunteer at her local soccer club where she encourages and trains young women in the sport.
Liza Joson – Conveyancing Assistant
Liza joined the team in August 2016. Liza has a long history in the legal profession previously working as a solicitor before making the decision to focus on Conveyancing. Liza is incredibly patient which is a great attribute to have when working with all of the various parties there are involved in any one transaction. Outside the office Liza is involved in her local church charity missions as well as all of her daughters weekend activities such as Disney concerts, ballet, arts and crafts.
Lauren Burgess – Conveyancing Assistant/Office Manager
Lauren joined the team in April 2017 ‘fresh’ after working in health and healing for a number of years. Lauren is a ‘North Shore Local’ living in Willoughby and growing up in Roseville so she knows our local area like the back of her hand! Lauren’s personality is one which is always calm and in control. Working with clients in healing has allowed her to transfer those skills into our industry to be able to work in harmony with clients and other parties involved in transactions.
